Very Long French Carved Elm Bench, Settle

This long Bretton Bench or Settle has carved decoration on the back with attractively turned spindles and Bretton Brass Stud decoration showing the date 1860
The Bench has sturdy arm rests, and an H stretcher with a thick elm seat
The settle is sound and sturdy and it is a good large size
The settle is 38” high at the back and 79” wide and it is 17” deep
