Large Single Burr Walnut Chateau Bed made in The Channel Islands

This Bed is a stunning piece with its high headboard and decorative foot end.
The head board has a large armorial shield in the centre and on either side it has superbly turned uprights with very large carved and turned wooden finials

The foot board of the bed is also very attractive, the Burr walnut Speckling has an excellent grain which flatters the delicate carving

The head of the bed is 69” high, it is 48” wide, the over all length of the bed is 79” , it takes standard 3ft6’ single mattress
