McVitie & Price Cake Shop Display Cabinet

This glazed advertising Shop Display Cabinet is made in mahogany, the cabinet has a rather grand curving gallery and is set on little Cabriole feet. The gallery is inset with a mirrored sign of Gold on Black glass with the name Mc Vitie & Price and a Prince of Wales feathers Royal appointment, also in mirrored Gold
The cabinet has 2 plate glass shelves and milk glass floor, the glass is thick and original but there is a shallow chip on one of the shelves
The cabinet has a pair of outward opening doors at the back, these are in glass so there is all-round vision
This is a very attractive piece, it is in good condition and it would be wonderful if it were to find its way back to a traditional cake shop
The Cabinet is 39” high to the top of the sign and 33” high to the top of the cabinet, 22” wide and 14” deep
