19th Century Gothic Lions Mask Carved Oak Fire Place

This mid 19th Century Fire Place was rescued from a French Manor House during extensive renovations

The Fireplace is in a Oak, the fire opening has a carved lion on either side and the panels above are decorated in the Gothic style with the tree of life, the detail of all of these is very fine indeed

The Fire place is in Good condition structurally, the mantlepiece has a few holes left when the overmantel was removed and there is small piece of wood missing from the bottom

This is a very rare piece in handsome condition

The fireplace is 50” high, 60” wide and 16” deep, the fire inset is 36” wide and 36” high
