A Victorian Mahogany Advertising Shop Display Cupboard

This shelved Cupboard or Bookcase has painted decoration on the Glass door advertising S Fisher of the Strand London
The Gold and Shadowed Lettering tells of all manner of the Hand Made Luggage, Trunks, Hat Boxes, Handbags and accessories made by the company, this is old and dates from the first half of the 20th Century
Samuel Fisher was noted for the design of the Gladstone bag dating back to the mid 19th Century

The cupboard has 7 shelves these can be altered and there is provision to accommodate more if desired

The Press is in good sound condition with a little age related wear, the lettering is a slightly faded and worn but it is clear enough to read easily

The cupboard is 80”high, 36”wide and 15”deep
