A Pair of Large Sculptures of English Stone Standing Male Lions with Paws on an Orb

The Sculptures depict standing Male Lions with an orb under one paw, the lions are looking to one side
This particular stance refers to the concept of "Rule Britannia" became popular during the reign of Queen Victoria and is emblematic of British power in the world.

The Lions are fully sculpted in the round and able to be viewed from any direction they are each set on a stepped plinth, they date from 1900 and they are made in reconstituted stone
The pair have been kept in an open porch and are attractively weathered, they are 32” long, 27” high and 12” wide
