Victorian Batchelor’s or Garret Bookcase Chest of Drawers

This is a very rare piece, at the bottom there is a chest of drawers, and on top of this an open bookcase

The bookcase fits on the drawer base by means of swivel pegs located inside the drawers, so it should be possible to take it in to a difficult to access location like an attic bedroom.
The chest of drawers has chamfered corners and bracket feet with 2 short over 2 long drawers, these have their original turned wooden knobs
The shelved top has 2 shelves, the centre shelf is high for large books or other things and it has a panelled back
The shelves are 11” deep, the bottom one is 11” high, the middle is 16” high and the top one is 10.5” high
This is a rare piece it is a many purpose piece, it would work very well in a small room

The overall height is 75.5” high, it is 53” wide and it is 20” deep,
