Description

Silver and Mother of Pearl, Early Victorian Fruit Knife.
Hallmarked for Sheffield 1951 - date letter - upper case H
The maker`s mark - AH, for Aaron Hadfield,Pepper Alley,
Far Gate, Sheffield.

A superb, large fruit knife in absolutely unused condition.
The blade opens and closes correctly - snaps at 180 degrees,90 degrees, and snaps closed.

Attractive shaped Mother of Pearl scales, both sides decorated to one end with Lily of the Valley. the other half of the face has a rectangular silver cartouche, engraved:-

The blade is plain but for the thumb groove and the hallmarks.
Has its own little cardboard carrying, keeping box, in very good little used condition.

Superb unused condition, throughout. 173 years old.
