Description
A well executed early 20thC Royal School of Needlework Art Nouveau style panel of stylised birds amongst flora and foliage, c1915-1920. Good bright colours - the two red stars in the top left corner indicate that the piece won awards/gained distinction. Slight staining to edges but otherwise fine - if framed appropriately will not show. Approx 60 cms wide and 50 cms high. Stretched on board. The RSN have a similar example on show in their HQ at Hampton Palace.DateArt Nouveau :
