Worldwide Shipping!!

You are bidding on a silver pair case English verge pocket watch, made by John Bridport in Liverpool 1805. This key wound pair case pocket watch is complete with a key.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has nice golden hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six. The protective glass is in good condition. It is rare to find a pocket watch from 1805 with a subsidiary seconds dial. There is a haircrack on the dial.

Movement: The English verge movement has a pierced and engraved balance cock and round pillars. The movement is signed: "Jn Bridport, Liverpool" and numbered: 7994. The movement is in great working condition, however we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch.

Case: The pocket watch lies in a silver pair case with a smooth finish on both cases. The inner side of the case is hallmarked for London 1805. The case is in good condition, the hinges are strong and closing tightly. The outer case has original watchpaper.

Signed: John Bridport - London, England - 1805
Diameter pocket watch: 52 mm
Total Weight: 142.7 g.
