A 9 Kt yellow gold (375) J.W. Benson keyless wind, half hunter pocket watch, hallmarked for Birmingham 1928. The pocket watch is complete with original JW Benson Ludgate hill signed box. Please see pictures!

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed: "J.W. Benson, London, Swiss Made".

Movement: The anchor lever fusee movement has a compensation steel balance and blued steel balance spring. The movement is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “15 Jewels, Swiss Made”.

Case: The pocket watch lies in a 9 Kt yellow gold half hunter ALD case with a smooth finish. The ALD case is fully stamped for 9 Kt gold 375 and hallmarked for Birmingham 1928. The inner side of the case is signed ALD and numbered: 423722.

Box: The box is signed: “JW Benson LTD, Watchmakers. Jewellers & Silversmiths, 62 & 64 Ludgate Hill E.C.4.” Please see pictures!
