Description

A rare travelling mirror with mercury plate dating back to the 18th century when mirrors were very much seen as a status symbol. The legs of the mirror fold flat for easy storage. The mahogany frame and base are decorated with ebony and boxwood stringing with a beautifully turned stem.

Glass - 7.5" x 5.75" / 19cm x 14.5cm
All items are checked by our restoration team and any work is sympathetically carried out. Therefore condition is excellent, commensurate with age and items are ready to go straight into the home for immediate use. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or request additional pictures.
