Description
A magnificent 19th century inlaid burr walnut davenport writing desk. Features superbly carved leg decorations, excellently preserved leather writing desk surface and wonderful raised section with fitted interior under a hinged lid and brass gallery rail.There are four large drawers to one side, and four faux drawers to the other side. The beautiful maple desk interior has two working drawers and is in fabulous condition. The piece is raised on circular feet with original ceramic and brass castors.
Incredibly clean, in very good condition with only light age related wear. Supplied with working key for drawers and writing desk.
