Description

A beautifully shaped French walnut console table or desk with wonderfully contoured and carved legs, single large front opening drawer and box matched veneered top forming a diamond pattern. The rear of the table features the same pattern as the front as shown however the panel is fixed rather than opening as a drawer.

Very good condition, all structurally in good order with some attractive age related surface wear with some very minor bubbling to the veneer in places. There is evidence of past woodworm as is so often the case with French pieces but this is merely aesthetic and very much in keeping with the character of the piece.
