Description

A fabulous Regency period pembroke table of superb proportions. This table is remarkably compact yet sizable enough to be used as a small kitchen dining table or games table. With a working drawer to one end and a false drawer to the other, each feature the original brass handles and decorative inlay.

The thumb moulded tabletop edge gives this piece a wonderful aesthetic and the drop leaf sections are easily raised into position and supported by the smoothly operating original arm supports. The piece is raised on beautifully turned legs with original brass castors in place.

Very good condition, structurally all in good order with just some stunning age related surface wear and patina. The one leaf naturally hangs out a little further ever so slightly on one side and the castors are a little loose owing to their age but one the whole this is a lovely piece in very good condition.
