A nice understated pair of side chairs or kitchen chairs with cane seats, simple frame backs and raised on beautifully turned front legs united by a turned stretcher.These are an unpretentious yet rather striking pair with simple form and lots of understated charm. There is some evidence of past woodworm predominantly to the rear legs but this is long gone. The cane seat panels are in remarkably good condition with one being slightly lighter than the other. Structurally the chairs are in good order with just some light age related surface wear.
