Description
A fine Victorian mahogany rise and fall reading table or duet music stand in the manner of Gillows. The tabletop can be lifted smoothly to the desired height easily, and can be lowered simply by pulling the original brass knob to the central octagonal column leg. Perfect for use as a standing desk for a laptop also.To one side of the table there is a duet reading stand which with removable book supports to the tabletop and height adjustable internal stands. The piece is raised on smoothly operating original castors.
Very good condition, all in good order with just a beautiful aged colour and patina. This is a wonderfully original piece with huge amounts of decorative appeal, superbly clean and ready for use in the home.
