Victorian brass band stationary box, circa 1875. A superb and original 19th century stationery box, the brass bound lid opening to a writing slope and storage compartments, which can be opened to reveal secret drawers activated by a hidden spring. The superb quality of this box would indicate that it was made for important personage during the Victorian era. It has recently had a replacement called leather writing service.
