Description
Circa 1920, mahogany drop leaf table by Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. The unusual table when opened is similar in style to a George III supper table, except with the distinctive Whytock & Reid carvings at the ends. The solid mahogany top stands on a mahogany frame which has a gate leg action and elegant tapering legs finishing in a stylised foot with foliate carving. The table is elegant both open and closed, retains its original patination, has good colour and is sturdy.Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
