Description
Circa 1890, late Victorian stained beech coaching table, with a makers label on the underside for ‘Thornton & Herne’. The table is hinged and there is a small brass clip to lock the top in position. Beneath the top are two cross stretchers which are hinged to the actual top and support the four turned legs, which have a cross over section with a centre screw so that they can pivot and open.Size 63.5cm high (110cm high folded) x 106.5cm diameter.
