Description
Circa 1880, pair of walnut and burr walnut Queen Anne style armchairs. With heart shaped top splat to the centre, with paper fold carvings in burr walnut. The shaped arms in solid walnut are held in place by a curved upright, and the serpentine seat pad can be removed. There is an unusual stretcher underneath, starting behind the front rail and curving downwards, united by a turned stretcher between the 2 back legs.Size 107 cm high x 62 cm wide x 55 cm deep
