Description
Circa 1770. A neat sized Italian bombe shaped commode/chest of drawers. The top with it faux porphyry and burr walnut fore-edge, with a configuration of three well shaped drawers, each with rococo handles, escutcheons and fine burr wood veneers. The gables are similar, with fine geometric patterns. Beneath the bottom drawer there is a shaped frieze in the front, the whole piece rests on four elegant sweeping feet with a pair of sabots to the front feet.79cm H, 78cm W, 49cm D
