Description
Circa 1860. An interesting mid Victorian burr walnut inlaid octagonal shaped worktable. The top inlaid with ivory insects (has ivory license) with a fine marquetry border. The hinged top opens to reveal a well fitted interior, with a shaped and inlaid frieze with downward facing finials. The octagonal conical tapering cone body supported on a bulbous stem issuing three hipped cabriole legs finishing on a well curled and carved foot.75cm High x 45cm Wide x 43cm Deep
