Description

Circa 1880. A monumental Georgian style bow front combination wardrobe, the large moulded cornice, the frieze with multiple beadings, and a panel of flamed mahogany, the middle section with a large pair of bow fronted doors, open to reveal an uninterrupted interior. Beneath this is a combination of two short bow fronted drawers, over three full length bow fronted drawers all with cast brass oval handles with elegant back plates, with ribbed pilasters on each side, with two large doors on the sides with flamed mahogany panels, flanked by ribbed pilasters similar to the centre. Inside are mirrored, brass hooks and a drawer in the base, all resting on an enclosed mahogany plinth.
