Circa 1880. Superb quality, shaped-front Victorian figured walnut chest of drawers. The top in quartered matched figured walnut with a shaped front with moulded fore-edges, above five graduated drawers with brass drop handles and engraved back plates and solid quarter-cut oak drawer linings (evidence of the highest quality). All over a moulded enclosed plinth base. Lovely original colour and patina, in excellent condition. The top drawer with gilt-brass label "Druce & Co., cabinetmakers, Portman Square, London".115cm Wide, 69cm Deep, 123cm Tall
