Description

A late 19th century Victorian rosewood veneered and marquetry inlaid stationery cabinet.

The cabinet has a fall front, a domed lid and gilt brass carrying handles at the sides.

The interior is fitted out with envelope and stationery racks, two stamp drawers, a ceramic note pad and an inkwell.

The underside of the lid has a ruler and pen holder that is stamped with a Victorian registration number Rd 173368 for the year 1891.

The fall front opens out into a two piece leather covered writing board.

The stationery cabinet is in good condition. (Circa 1891)
