Description

An exceptional side cabinet attributed to Gillow's. In king-wood and tulip-wood and ormolu mounted this piece is in very original condition having just been cleaned and waxed and retains all its original elements. It comprises of a pair of central glazed doors enclosing a shelved interior and with open shelving to either end. The top has a wide shaped banding and boxwood stringing. 19th century cabinet making at its best. 900mm high, 2320mm wide and 440mm deep. English. Circa 1860
