An unusual George III mahogany chest of drawers

Description

Finished all around with paneled sides and back, the top 3 drawers are dummies and the top lifts open to reveal a polished interior, the bottom 3 are oak lined and all retain their original turned and ebonised knobs, locks and escutcheons. The plinth base conceals original brass castors. This chest is made from good quality mahogany and is in excellent condition. 860mm high, 640mm wide and 440mm deep. Circa 1820
