Description

This is an impressive large Octagonal Capstan Silver Inkwell with original glass well.

Hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1915, the Silversmith makers mark is rubbed (see images).

The Inkwell is in good condition with a few small pinprick marks.

The Inkwell weighs approx 600g (base weighted) and measures 135mm in diameter to the base x 75mm diameter to the top x 60mm High.
