Description

This is a Stunning Edwardian Silver Inkwell with a Pique Inlaid Tortoiseshell Lid and Original Glass Inkwell.

Made by Silversmith William Comyns & Sons and Hallmarked in the London Assay Office in 1908.

The Inkwell weighs 499g (weighted base) and measures 100mm diameter of base x 55mm diameter lid x 46mm high.

The Inkwell is in good condition with a small blemish to the lid (see images).Due to the shape of the inkwell blemishes seen in the images are reflections.
