Collinson Child's Rocking Horse

Description
This child's rocking horse was made by the very well-known Liverpool rocking horse makers J Collinson and Sons. It dates probably from mid 20thC, circa 1950s, and this example is in exceptional condition.Please do look at the photos, where you will see the mane and tail are luxurious, and all the leather wear is not only present and correct but, like the structure and paintwork, in good condition too. You will struggle, in my opinion, to find an example in better condition.
A wonderful piece as an interior design feature in a window, or ready to take children on the rides of their lives. For generations to come, they can climb on, gee-up and gallop away to wherever their imagination takes them.
The sizes of the whole piece including the rocking frame:W: 107cm (42.1")H: 87cm (34.3")D: 35cm (13.8")
The actual pony is 70cms high x 78 wide.
