A stunning Victorian sterling silver mounted cranberry glass decanter, fully hallmarked for Mitchell Bosley & Co, Birmingham, 1899.The silver work is extremely fine, depicting cherubs, varying birds and foliate detail throughout. The glass is superb, of beautiful colour and substantial weight, with the original stopper repeating the fluted pattern of the decanter.
The decanter and stopper remain in a very good condition throughout, free from any chips and cracks.
An extremely handsome piece.
