IRISH, 1902-1996
Frank Forty was an Irish painter known for his landscapes of County Donegal and Kerry. He was born in 1902 and died in 1996. As well as being a consultant surgeon and a musician, Frank Forty was a highly accomplished and accredited artist, having exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists, the Medical Art Society, the Federation of British Artists and the Society of French Artists. He also showed work at the Paris Salon, where he was awarded honors in 1970
