Description

Classic, Good Well Maintained Movement & Solid Oak Cased 8 Day Longcase with Square Painted Dial Signed Thomas Moore Ipswich Suffolk.

Recently checked and oiled, in good antique working condition with Seconds and Chapter Rings.

Brian Loomes lists Thomas Moore (II) as Ipswich, then Long Melford, married 1733, died 1754. Son of Thomas Moore (I) of Ipswich. Heir of Thos of London. Devised a fuzee winding both ways.
