Description

A very impressive set of six William IV satin birch dining chairs raised on reeded tapering from legs. This set of antique chairs have finely carved scrolling top rails, this carving is repeated in the horizontal splats. The colour and grain of the beautiful satin birch timber has be used with the skill of a craftsman to maximize the decorative impact of this stunning set of chairs. The chairs are in good condition, there is evidence of historic restoration, but this is not easily visible and the chairs are sturdy and solid. The seats have been recovered in a neutral linen coloured fabric, which works with most schemes. A beautiful set of antique chairs to add style to any dining room.
