Description

A superb leather armchair with removable original velvet covered seat cushion. The leather on this stunning armchair has acquired the wonderful patination and mellow warm brown tone that is only acquired with age. The decorative studding, which continues to the legs is most attractive. The armchair is in good condtion, there is a small historic repair to the inner seat, this cannot be seen when the cushion is in place. This is not detrimental to the chair and is shown in the photographs. The state of the leather is good, there are areas of wear as you would expect with an item that has been in use for 100 years, this only adds to the character of the chair. This charming, small proportioned leather armchair is extremely comfortable and would be a very decorative and useful addition to any room.
