Description

A rare Victorian Scottish silver table decoration, the dish formed from a large shell and mounted on a chased scallop shell socle square base, hallmarked William Marshall, Edinburgh 1862.
The shell is in good condition, there is minor crazing to the inner shell, this is very minimal and of no detriment to the piece. This is an exotic and very beautiful item that will be a focal point wherever it is placed.
