Description

A very unusual Victorian bird bath, the deep sandstone dished top is supported by an elegant polished marble column. The marble base is carved with acanthus leaves and rosettes. The bird bath stands straight and firmly on its base, but as can be seen in the photographs, there has been a small portion of the base and column removed. This does not affect the stability. The pink polished marble and weathered sandstone combine to make a very attractive garden feature.
