Description

A very good set of Japanese woodblock prints depicting theatrical scenes. These prints are attributed to Kunisada who was renowned for painting actors in theatre productions in the 19th century.

The condition is good, the colours are extremely strong. The 19th century paper has been embossed, this emphasises the richness of the costumes.

This set of high quality prints would be a striking decorative addition to any room.
