Description

This is a most exquisite 19th century papier mache dish/tray profusely inlaid with mother of pearl. The center field is illustrated with figures by a lake in a garden with trees, flowers and structures beautifully depicted in mother of pearl. This is surrounded by a scroll border lavishly inlaid with mother of pearl.

This beautiful antique dish has been in a private collection for many years. The condition is excellent.

This stunning item would be an important addition to a collection or make a wonderful gilt.
