Description
Now sensitievly restored to her former glory, we are proud to present for sale this charming early 19th Century English School antique oil on canvas head and shoulders portrait of a young lady.Circa 1830.
Artist and sitter unknown.
Presented in its original inner gilt slip, and its its original wood and part-gilded frame.
Condition - cleaned and re-varnished. Craqueleur to the paint surface. This painting has been relined in part and sits on its original canvas within the frame. The frame does have some surface wear which is commensurate with age.
