Description

A rare late 18th Century English antique treen boot jack used to remove riding boots.
Shaped in the form of a pistol.
The device folds in half (see images).
This is a rare object. Similar examples of these jacks can be seen in Pinto's Book of Treen and Other Wooden Bygones, plate 246.
Conditon - wood very good. Very minor splatters of white paint to the gun barrel. Hinge replaced historically.
