Description

A pair of finely carved, decorative, figurative corbels / supports. Turned and carved from pine, these decorative corbels are slightly different in height, measuring approximately 57.5 and 58.5 cm (22.5 and 23 inches) high by 11 cm (4.5 inches) at widest, by 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep. A few nibbles as would be expected, main area is to the top of one. A few signs (not many) of historic woodworm, but they have both been treated as a precaution. Very clean, so may have been dipped and stripped at some point. Difficult to date, probably 20th C. Nice decorative pieces.
