A finely carved figure of Saint Paul, holding a sword and a book.
This carved wooden figure of Saint Paul dates to the early 1800s, it has good detail and original paint, no major damage to the carving, just loss of the original paint in places, as can be seen and as would be expected.
The carved figure stands on a wooden plinth, and is approx 16 inches in height, in total. The base measures approx 5 1/2 inches wide by 4 1/4 inches deep.
