Description

We are selling this quality 19th Century French three piece clock set with makers mark Japy Frer. The front of the clock is decorated in deep blue background with pretty cherubs, garden flowers and maidens. On and around the hand painted panels is small white raised beading. The clock and side pieces are bronze with gilding (ormolu) and panels hand painted. On each of the side pieces maidens dance with flowers painted on the back.
Inside the clock is stamped BR 244 37744 and Japy Frer (as shown in picture).

Clock height 14 inches, width 8 inches and depth 5 inches. Side pieces 9 inches high.

In good condition, small amounts of rubbins as per age.
