Description

We are selling this very decorative French 19th Century mantle clock. A late 19th Century gilt-metal French mantel clock which is stamped R & C Paris, London.
The elaborate case surmounted by a large oval pink ground urn with acanthus scroll handles and centre finial, the pink dialmeasures 3 1/2 inches and has white painted Roman cartouche numerals. There are pilasters above a painted panel of a seated lady and gentleman, the breakfront plinth applied with central painted panel and raised on shaped feet, the twin-barrel movement with pendulum, striking on a bell.

Width 31cm, depth 13cm, height 43cm. Overall condition good with a few of the tiny beads missing.
