Description

We are selling this lovely quality 19th Century French mantle cl0ck. The main part of the clock is gilt bronze mounts with hand painted sevres panels depicting cherubs, flowers and birds. The base panel has brightly coloured country flowers and gilt border. To the sides are gilt bronze swags and floers and sitting to the top is a pretty bronze female.

It has a bell and pendulum with a 7 day movement. On the front dial it reads JP marchland & Fils, A PARIS. The movement is also stamped and the panel signed.

Measuring 19 inches in height, width 10 inches and depth 6 1/2 inches and in working order.
