Description

We are selling this superb quality 19th Century Chinese enamel jardiniere and stand. The body is decorated with four hexagonal shaped cartouches which are filoled with enamelled long stem chrysanthamums and peonies. The body has been worded with gilt wire and decorated with coloured enamels depicting a dense network of peony sprays and butterfliezx on turquoise background. The upper rim is detailed with ruy6i lappet borders and it stands on a heavily carved stand.

Height with stand 14 inches, length 18 1/2 inches x 12 inches. Height without stand 9 inches. All in lovely condition and two character mark to base.
