Description

Unusual and pretty small silver plated pedestal bowl with draining liner. Marks are for Hawksworth Eyre and Co (1833-1873) who exhibited at the 1851 Great Exhibition. Lovely quality and good condition for its age. 15.5cm diameter top and 9cm high. Cartouches on either side of the bowl are clean. Probably a berry bowl originally for soft fruit - would look great with strawberries or cherries in it but equally good for ice.
