19th Century Antique French Confit Pot

Description
Ref 6871A - 19th Century Antique French green and yellow glazed terracotta confit pot in good condition. These pots were mainly used in the Southern France to preserve meats like duck or goose for dishes such as cassoulet or foie gras. The lower parts were left unglazed, as the pots were half buried in the ground to keep the contents cooler and fresher. Some cracks and small chips as you would expect with an item of this age. A very decorative item which can be used for floral displays or converted for use as a lamp base.Size - 11.5"h x 9.5" diameter

Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received and remain the property of Jasper Jacks until full payment has been cleared by our bank.
If we are unable to supply you with the item you ordered we will inform you of this by e-mail or telephone and, if you have already paid, refund you in full as soon as possible.
We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products if this is wholly or partly caused by circumstances beyond our control.
RETURNS POLICY FOR INTERNET SALES WITHIN THE UK AND EU
Items bought unseen from our website may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned via our specialist antique carrier within an agreed period. A full refund, excluding the delivery and return carriage costs, will be made within 14 days of receipt of the item at our workshop, provided the items is returned in good, undamaged condition.
Items which have been specially customised at the client's request may not be returned.
